Bringing together a jazz-influenced progression and a pop melody, the first song of Equivalent was released as a single a month before the full album, and quickly gained over 80,000 streams on Spotify. Originally written by Owen Longjohn, the song was then collaborated on with Amanda Rohling to adapt it to her voice and story.
